From the VicarageBy the time you read this I should be settled fairly comfortably into my new home, St Augustine’s Vicarage. As you may have seen, the vicarage has been repainted inside, and, as it is just next door to the Church I am hoping that there will be opportunities to invite you in for meetings, house- groups and even a quiet party. Many thanks to everyone who helped with the redecoration and cleaning of the house and with any part of the move. As I write this I am looking forward to the service on Sunday November 20th to “collate” and install me officially as the Vicar of St Augustine’s Church and Parish. Thanks to everyone who will have attended this service, and especially to all involved in preparing for the service and for the refreshments afterwards. It will, of course, take time for me to recognise everyone, but it will be good to get to know you. Do introduce yourselves to me, and tell me your name every time we meet until I can remember it! With every blessing for Christmas, Ann
